Kennel Cough (also known as Bordetella) is a highly contagious bacterial disease. Kennel Cough itself is not fatal, but the disease can lead to fatal bronchopneumonia in puppies and chronic bronchitis in senior or immunocompromised dogs. Kennel cough is easily spread from dog to dog through aerosol droplets, direct contact, or contact with contaminated surfaces like food and water bowls, toys, or kennel runs. We accept both 6 month and 1 year doses of the vaccine.
Canine Distemper is a highly contagious, often fatal disease caused by a virus that attacks the respiratory, gastrointestinal, and the nervous systems. Distemper is spread through contact with bodily secretions (eg, nasal discharge), but is most commonly spread through airborne transmission (eg, sneezing and coughing). We accept both 1 year and 3 year doses of the vaccine.
Canine Influenza, sometimes referred to as dog flu, is a highly contagious respiratory disease caused by two specific type A influenza viruses known to infect dogs. One is an H3N8 virus, and the other is an H3N2 virus. The signs of this illness in dogs are cough, runny nose, fever, lethargy, eye discharge, and reduced appetite, but not all dogs will show signs of illness. This vaccine requires 2 doses given 3 weeks apart. We require both doses to be completed at the time of booking.
Leptospirosis is a disease caused by infection with Leptospira bacteria. These bacteria can be found worldwide in soil and water. The clinical signs of leptospirosis vary. Common clinical signs reported in dogs include fever, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, refusal to eat, severe weakness and depression, stiffness, or severe muscle pain.This vaccine requires 2 doses given 3 weeks apart. We require both doses to be completed at the time of booking.
Rabies is a preventable viral disease most often transmitted through the bite of a rabid animal. The rabies virus infects the central nervous system of mammals, ultimately causing disease in the brain and death. Signs progress within days to seizures, difficulty breathing, difficulty swallowing, excessive salivation, abnormal behavior, aggression, and/or self-mutilation. It is the law for all dogs to have the rabies vaccine. We accept both 1 year and 3 year doses of the vaccine.
All 5 vaccines are required at the time of booking any service. We may refuse service due to any missing vaccines to new or existing customers.
