Daycare Enrollment Process and Requirements

In order to get your pup ready to romp and play, we will need you to submit your pups vaccine records. 

Records can be sent by email at play@doggiesdayoutofps.com or text at (760) 422-6259.

Next will be filling out the Waiver and Application forms.

One Waiver form per family, and one Application form per dog.

A staff member will be in contact with you to get your pup started!

All dogs must be current on the following vaccinations & documentation must be provided to Doggie's Day Out:

• Rabies
• Distemper (DAPP, DHLPP, etc.)
• Bordetella
• Leptospirosis
• K9 Influenza 
• Flea and Tick Prevention (any brand you choose, we just ask for the brand name and a photo of the box the medication comes in for our records)

All vaccines must be up to date to continue joining playgroup, please send updated records to our email. We cannot contact your vet for vaccines.

So you've submitted the waiver, application, and vaccine records. Now what?

We will schedule a daycare evaluation for our soonest availability. We schedule evaluations on Thursdays in the early afternoon.

The pup is required to be here for at least 3 hours, and part of the evaluation process includes your pup being in a kennel for about half an hour prior to entering the playrooms. 

Once your pup is in the playroom, we will move at their pace as long as the pup is showing positive behavior and body language, we will continue  integrating them into the pack. Every dog is different, if you pup needs an additional evaluation or extra time, we will let you know at pick-up.

If we determine daycare happens to not be the best-fit for your pup during their evaluation, we will let you know as soon as possible as well as other options for your pup's care.

My pup passed their evaluation, now what?

All approved daycare guests are required to be on a weekly reoccurring schedule as this encourages consistency within the playgroup and allows us to keep our playgroups to a safe, but fun capacity.

We will set a schedule up with you at the end of their evaluation.

All pups must be at least 6 months old for any services provided by Doggie's Day Out of Palm Springs.

All pups must be spayed/neutered by 9 months old to continue their daycare services if evaluated prior to 6 months old intact.
